Our hampers include a variety of nutritional food and essentials. Whenever we run short, we have to purchase these items. You can help by donating items from the list below.

We Are Out

  • Canned tomatoes
  • Side dishes or meal kits (Rice-a-roni, etc.)
  • Condensed milk
  • Milk alternatives
  • Condiments
  • Baking items & cake mixes
  • Jello and pudding mix
  • Canned fruit
  • Bulk oats / flour *

  • Large dried soup
  • Sugar free items (for diabetics)

Baby Needs

  • Ready to feed formula (any brand)
  • Diapers – sizes 4 & 5
  • Wipes

We Are Running Short

  • Pancake mix & syrup
  • Crackers
  • Cookies
  • Jam and honey
  • Coffee / tea
  • Rice and sugar *
  • Snacks
  • Drink mixes
  • Toothpaste & bar soap
  • Facial tissue / toilet tissue

On-going School Program Needs

  • Peanut-free granola bars
  • Tuna & crackers (plain snack packs)
  • Cheese & crackers (snack packs)
  • Non-perishable microwaveable meal / pasta cups
  • Small (real) fruit juice boxes
  • 1L orange juice
  • Veg & fruit juice blend

* NOTE: Flour, sugar, oats & rice can be donated  in bulk as we repackage these item.

Please check expiry dates. Our guideline is, if we wouldn't eat it, we don't give it out.

We are always in need of grocery bags,egg cartons (dozen size only please), toiletries (including feminine hygiene products), cleaning supplies, paper towels and Avon boxes.

We accept perishable items (garden vegetables, fruit and certified/store-bought meat). Please bring them to our warehouse during office hours so that our staff can put them in a cooler/freezer immediately.

Food can be dropped off at any grocery store in Airdrie or at the Airdrie Food Bank (20 East Lake Way, Airdrie) Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or Wednesday 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
