Our New Building
The Airdrie Food Bank is working hard to meet drastically increased demand for food services and programs. We are in urgent need of additional space to continue to meet the growing needs of those struggling in our community. To that end, we are in the process of building a new purpose-built facility. Visit our new building website.
Put Another Brick in the Wall
- Purchase a Brick for $100 to help build your new Airdrie Food Bank. For every brick purchased, $50 will be donated by an Anonymous Donor! Bricks now available!
Community Fundraising Events
- We have a number of events running to help us raise the remaining amount needed for our new building. Support those who are running Fundraising Community Events
Community Spirit Grant
The Airdrie Food Bank receives the Community Spirit Grant - a provincial program that is donor-driven. The grant recognizes and encourages Albertans to support their favourite charitable organizations by basing the amount given on the total annual cash donations the charity receives over a 12-month period. The more our community donates, the bigger our grant to a $50,000 maximum over 3 years. More info.
Thank you so much to our sponsors, volunteers, business and community members. We so appreciate the support of everyone - an amazing community of neighbours helping neighbours.
